Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake Receives Short Delay

The Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake was leaked, then announced, at a Ubisoft Forwards event back in September of this year. The title was initially scheduled for release on Jan 21, 2022, notwithstanding, a post from the Czech Ubisoft Facebook business relationship (which has now been removed) has confirmed that the game has received a curt delay.

The post says that the game has been delayed for but under two months, until March 18, 2022.

A full translation of Ubisoft's post from ResetEra user NeoRaider reads:

"Greetings, Prince of Persia fans! During our Ubisoft Forward digital conference, we proudly announced Prince'southward render from Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake. We are excited to be able to put this game in your hands again as nosotros retell the story of Prince and Farah in the amazing 11th century Persia. Still, 2022 was a year like no other. Today we would similar to inform you lot that we need more time to consummate the game. With that, the release engagement of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake has been moved to March xviii, 2022. We believe this is the right conclusion to ensure we deliver a game you similar. Thank you for your patience and continued support of the Prince of Persia, and we hope you lot remain safe and healthy during this holiday season. Developer team."
